Installation and maintenance

Methods of installing Clean System

Depending on the object, there are two ways to install CLEAN SYSTEM system mats. These are:

  • recessed frame,
  • ramp profile.

Depending on the chosen method, the following recommendations should be followed.

The frame should be installed in the recess in such a way that its upper edge is flush with the floor surface, and its lower surface is flush with the floor in the recess. The floor surface in the recess must be even and flat (building standard for self-leveling floors: tolerance up to 2 mm). If the mat is placed in an uneven recess, it may become “keyed” and permanently deformed (requiring replacement of the mat).

Recessed frame

The frames for CLEAN SYSTEM mats are made of aluminum angles:

  • 15 x 15 x 2 mm (for mats with a height of 12 mm),
  • 20 x 20 x 2 mm (for mats with a height of 17 mm),
  • 25 x 25 x 3 mm (for mats with a height of 22 mm),
  • 30 x 30 x 3 mm (for mats with a height of 27 mm).
  • The frame should be installed in the recess in such a way that its upper edge is flush with the floor surface, and its lower surface is flush with the floor in the recess. The floor surface in the recess must be even and flat (building standard for self-leveling floors: tolerance up to 2 mm).
